Wilderen
The Wilderen brewery has an early history dating as far back as 1642.
Wilderen was an economic production unit that was self-sufficient, meeting its own needs. It is complete with a barn, farmhouse, cattle, and agriculture. Large scale production forced them to move the brewing to a larger facility, the oxen stables, which is where the brewery is located today. The original place of the brewery is now a bakery. This brewery is well known and well respected.
Triple Kanunnik: Triple is a 4 –grain beer brewed according to the original Wilderen kanunnik recipe.
A mild herbal triple with reyeasting in the bottle and a mild aftertaste due to the use of fine & noble species of hops. In this beer in addition to barley, wheat and oats sometimes also rye is added which gives this Triple its typical character.
Cuvee Clarisse: This is a Belgian Strong Ale is ruby red with an aroma that has been described as “seductive”. It has notes of licorice and hints of caramel. It has accents of maltiness on and a tang of fruit, rounded off with hoppy spiciness. 9.2% ABV
